• 03/06/2026: Cast and air dates revealed for Le Maître du Jeu season 5, plus launch announcement for Le Maître du Jeu Junior
  Season 5 of Le Maître du Jeu, featuring contestants Anne-Élisabeth Bossé, Patrice Bélanger, Mathieu Dufour, Pascal Cameron, and Sinem Kara, will start airing from the 20th of September 2026. The first season of Le Maître du Jeu Junior, featuring Patrice Bélanger in the Taskmaster role but Antoine Vézina reprising his assistant role, will air in December 2026. This show will have eight episodes and feature eight contestants between the ages of 9 and 12, most of whom have already appeared on TV.
• 22/05/2026: Stormester season 10 air date revealed
  The tenth season of Stormester is scheduled to begin airing on the 12th of June 2026, featuring contestants Jacob Riising, Katinka Bjerregaard, Lisbeth Wulff, Peter Werner, and Rasmus Wallbridge.
• 19/04/2026: Hosts of Taskmaster Poland revealed
  It has been announced on the Dzień Dobry TVN breakfast show and on TVN's Instagram account that the Taskmaster role will be held by Adam Woronowicz and his assistant will be Cezary Sikora. The first season is expected to air in late 2026.
• 14/04/2026: Polish version of Taskmaster greenlit by TVN
  A Polish version of the Taskmaster format, to be co-produced by Avalon and Constantin, has been greenlit by Polish network TVN. Alex Horne reacted by stating that "I think this has got a bit out of control, to be honest". The article also reveals that Swedish broadcaster TV4 has commissioned seasons 14 and 15 of Bäst i Test, and that further seasons of Kongen Befaler have been commissioned.
• 12/04/2026: Air date finally announced for season 5 of Taskmaster Australia
  The season will begin airing on the 7th of May 2026.
• 08/04/2026: Official announcement of Taskmaster Netherlands hosts
  Greg Davies and Alex Horne appeared on Arjen Lubach's talk show to promote the announcement that Arjen himself would hold the Taskmaster role in the Dutch version of the show, assisted by Diederik Smit. The first season is expected to air in late 2026.
• 02/04/2026: Avalon and Channel 4 confirm recommission of Taskmaster for three more years
  The recommission includes six more series (taking us up to series 27) plus New Year Treat and Champion of Champion specials. For the first time, the new episodes will also be made available to UK viewers on Channel 4's YouTube channel. It's also been announced that the New Zealand, Australian, and Quebecois adaptations will all be made available on Channel 4's streaming service.

  Applications are now open for tickets to attend the season 13 studio filming sessions at Drammen's Theatre between the 18th and 25th of August 2026.

  The release of a trailer for series 21 on the official Taskmaster YouTube channel confirms that the series will begin airing on the 9th of April 2026.

  Stormester assistant Mark Le Fêvre made a post on his Instagram account, teasing that an announcement might be made soon about the air date for season 10.
• 20/03/2026: Taskmaster series 21 air date revealed?
  The British Comedy Guide is listing the Taskmaster series 21 start date as the 9th of April 2026. This has not yet been confirmed by any official announcement.
• 13/03/2026: 'Chance for Revenge' special of Bäst i Test announced
  At the end of season 12 of Bäst i Test, it was announced that a single episode 'Chans till revansch' special would be airing the following week, featuring previous contestants Daniel Nannskog, Marie Agerhäll, Nikki Amini, Ola Forssmed, and Sofia Dalén.
