Tara Lina shoots for victory

Tara Lina searches the shed and emerges with an air rifle, questioning Olli whether it’s real. When Olli confirms that it is a functional gun, Tara Lina re-reads the task brief, and realises that it says nothing about her actually needing to complete the race. Rather, according to the instructions, she could simply shoot something 60 metres.

In the studio, this revelation initially annoys Aksel in particular, but he then bows down to her in recognition of her smart solution.

Tara Lina sets up a can pyramid and balloon at the finish line, and – after doffing her “Gentleman’s Club flat cap” – stands where Olli has measured the start of the 60 metre distance, and pops the balloon with her first shot.

As Tara Lina walks towards the finish line to inspect her handiwork, she takes a moment to look directly at the camera and address Aksel, taunting him that he may have acted in several Academy Award-winning movies, but that he can’t shoot a balloon from 60 metres away.

Tara Lina wins the task, with a time of just 0.67 seconds.
