Aksel sets the house on fire

Aksel moves the fire pit away from the house, down the slope and near to the outhouse, where he leans it against a tree.
He then attaches a line to the tree and pulls it up to the house, actually climbing up the side of the house and onto the balcony, rather than taking the stairs inside the house (a showboating decision on which Else calls him out, in the studio, though he insists that climbing was more logical than running the line through the house). Aksel attaches the other end of his pulley system to the wall of the house, above the balcony.
After pouring a liberal amount of petrol onto the bonfire, Aksel then returns to the balcony and soaks a bundle of rags with the same fuel. As Aksel is then making the finishing touches to his pulley system, the rags drips petrol onto the balcony railing.
Aksel sets the rags on fire and sends them sliding down the line to the bonfire, where they cause an explosion that knocks the kettle off and sets the nearby tree on fire. Aksel does not seem to notice that he has also set the balcony railing on fire during the process, thanks to the petrol which had dripped from the rag.
In the studio, Aksel jokes that this was the moment where he realised that he had no respect for the Kongen Befaler house.
Aksel lights the bonfire from a distance of 30 metres away, and earns second place.
