Bjarte sets the lawn on fire

Bjarte runs a hose from the bonfire down the slope in the garden and towards the outhouse.

He explains to Olli that his plan is for the hose to provide a constant source of petrol so that the fire he starts at the end of the garden will travel up through the hose and into the bonfire.

When he runs out of hose before reaching the end of the garden, Bjarte pours petrol directly onto the lawn instead, to create a longer trail for the fire to follow.

When his plan does not work, Bjarte walks up to the bonfire to see what went wrong, and then directly lights the bonfire himself using a box of matches from his pocket.

Bjarte’s final distance is not given, beyond “right next to the fire pit”, and he earns joint fourth place.
