Richardson disrespects the Taskmaster

Richardson arms himself well before heading outside, taking down the portrait of Louis from the study and using it as a tray to transport all of the prepared pies.

Richardson is fairly stiff while dancing, mainly focusing on matching Marcel’s arm movements while keeping everything below his waist unbent.

After a few missed shots, he starts to chase Marcel around the red circle, eventually taking a shot when Marcel dips down low enough that he almost touches the ground, but his throw misses.

Richardson then arms himself with two pies at once, musing that Marcel knows what he’s trying to do, as Marcel apparently refuses to dip back down towards the ground and come within range. Richardson then takes a running leap towards Marcel and hits him with both pies, but both shots hit Marcel’s back, forcing Richardson into another dance break.

Richardson’s next shot just barely misses Marcel’s face, but he finally manages to clip Marcel’s face with his sixth pie.

In the studio, Louis compliments Richardson’s idea of using a tray to transport all of the pies. Bianca quickly responds by pointing out that Richardson’s tray was the portrait of Louis, and that that he had therefore actually been quite disrespectful to the Taskmaster by doing so. Unable to resist the joke, Arnaud compliments Richardson for putting eight pies on a dummy (‘tarte’ means ‘pie’, but also means ‘stupid’).

With a time of 5 minutes and 17 seconds, Richardson earns fourth place.
