Concetta becomes a giggly table

As Concetta starts to write down different types of furniture with a giant pencil, Tom Cashman stops her and asks if he can address something. She quickly responds that it is a normal-sized pencil, but that she is just so tiny.

Pacing around, Concetta says that if she were to become a chair, then Tom would have to sit on her, so she isn’t going to do that.

Tom Cashman is then seen re-entering the dimly-lit study, where Concetta is in on all fours, in the centre of the room, with a red and white checked tablecloth over her. A glass of red wine, a plate of spaghetti Bolognese, and some tea light candles are balanced on her back.

As Tom sits at the ‘table’, Concetta greets him, and the tea-light candles fall off. She then begins giggling, which makes even more of the items fall off of the table, including the glass of red wine.

Tom begins to eat the spaghetti, as Concetta sings “When the moon hits your eyes, like a big pizza pie, that’s amore….” She then attempts to put the tea light candles back onto her back, but they slip straight back off and roll away.

After Tom blows his whistle, Concetta sits up and says “Oh, my god, we should do… I mean we shouldn’t”, before imitating sucking up a length of spaghetti (referencing the famous scene in the film Lady and the Tramp. However, Tom says that wouldn’t have much to do with the task.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson points out that one of the flaws of Concetta’s attempt was that she was just too giggly. However, he quite likes Concetta’s table, and awards her 4 points.
