Mel's A$1.7 million dog portrait

Mel brings in a sketch of a dog, stating that she’s been paid to draw portraits of people’s dogs.
Tom Cashman reiterates that the task brief was to present the best piece of A$50 art, and wonders whether being paid to create the drawing means the cost was negative. Tom Gleeson is happy to interpret it that way, and asks Mel how much she was paid for the art. She thinks for a moment and then claims she was paid A$1.7 million. Tom notes that that -A$1.7 million is a long way under A$50.
However, when Tom Cashman then reminds Tom Gleeson that the objective of the task was to present the best piece of art, he states that the art itself is shit, and Mel earns just 1 point.
