Rhys’ rare Tom Gleeson CD

Rhys brings in a CD single by Tom Gleeson, titled The United States of Australia, claiming that they found it by searching for ‘rare art’ on eBay.

The front cover of the CD features a version of the American flag, but with the stars from the Australian flag. Inside the CD case, there is a photo of a much younger-looking Tom Gleeson, and a disc listing three different versions of the song.

Tom Gleeson claims that he’d genuinely forgotten that he released a single. Rhys says that they’d love to be able to play it, but they couldn’t find a CD player, and neither could the production team. Tom notes that they’d also need to get his permission to play it, and that he would never have given it.

Ultimately, Tom declares that his own CD is obviously the best artwork, so Rhys earns 5 points.
