Pete enlists the help of Tom Gleeson’s wife

When Tom Cashman asks Pete if he has anyone in mind for his voice recording, Pete immediately names Dame Judi Dench. When Tom then asks Pete if he knows her, he replies that he does not.
In the studio, after Aaron’s attempt is shown, Tom Gleeson appears to begin to wrap up the section, in preparation for awarding points. Pete raises his hand and politely asks if they can also watch his entry, noting that although he’s only on 2 points at this point in the episode, he would still like to “play the episode out.”
Pete claims that he did receive a recording from Judi Dench, but wasn’t happy with it, and so had scrapped it. He then claims that later, while walking down the street, he had heard a heavenly voice that he just knew he had to record. Pete’s recording is audio only. He introduces it “the way I’d order a cup of tea”, referencing his soft whisper at the end of the racket task, and saying “Play the bloody audio!”.
In Pete’s recording, a woman’s voice says “I’m glad you find my voice so angelic. And I hope Taskmaster feels the same. I guess all I need to say now is, ‘How now, brown cow?’”.
Tom Gleeson listens to the recording with his eyes closed, noting that the lack of visuals had helped him luxuriate in the sound. When Pete calls it the most heavenly voice he’s ever heard, Tom asks who it was, and Pete replies “Do you not know? Are you joking?”.
When Tom says that he’s worried that his wife might be watching, and he doesn’t want to admit that he’d found someone else’s voice attractive, Pete assures him that he’s covered, since it was actually Tom’s wife.
When it comes time to award points, Tom Gleeson admits that he’s now “in a pickle” because his wife is featured in one of the recordings (thus coining the episode title). However, Pete wins the task and is awarded 5 points.
