Sarah builds a cable car

Sarah thinks about things that can hover (‘svæve’), like paper, before deciding that cable cars (‘svævebane’, directly translating to ‘hovering track’) qualify. She raids the shed for things she can use to build her cable car, eventually breaking a small tabletop in half to act as the ‘car’. Sarah runs a long cable from the bathroom on the top floor of the Stormester house, out of the window, and across the garden, leaving Mark to release the car, which gets stuck on the cable, partway down the line. When Sarah shakes the cable to dislodge it, it falls to the ground. After Lasse defines ‘hovering’, it is determined that Sarah’s car ‘hovered’ for nearly 1 second – the time it took to fall to the ground. Sarah earns fourth place.
