Episode 6: Rob Vanoudenhoven

Episode synopsis

In this episode the contestants must bring in the ugliest item, paint a horse while riding a horse, find out about a Swedish person, make a dessert resembling a Flemish celebrity, and inflate the largest balloon while blindfolded.

Taskmaster Intro

Welcome! I'm Gert Verhulst, and this is Het Grootste Licht. Three months ago, I asked the bosses of VTM to give me a show in which I could pester a bunch of famous Flemish. 'Mr. Verhulst, that's a great idea.' was their reply. And, voilà, by now that bunch has performed a series of tasks for me, and all of that in my own house. I'll be scoring everything they do, and eventually one of them will be 'The Brightest Light' for one whole week. Let me introduce our contestants with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old who has to finish his plate of spinach.

Contestant Intros

The first always reminds me of my dearly departed grandfather. He used to say "Gert, there are two kinds of people. There are smart people, and there are stupid people." Tonight she's the only one in that first category: Frieda van Wijck!

A man from the second category: Sven de Ridder!

On the third chair is a stunningly beautiful girl. I do have to warn the teenage boys watching - don't bring her home: Olga Leyers!

And the fourth is the wet dream of all the women in Flanders - or rather, most of them, because I still have a lock on the elderly demographic: Guga Baúl!

And finally, our rotating guest for tonight - a man who reaches the same staggering heights I do, but only when it comes to body length: the one and only Rob Vanoudenhoven!

Assistant Intro

But like any other general, I'll just stay safely back in the barracks. I would never trudge through the mud. That's what I have a charming sergeant for. Please put your hands together for Ruth Beeckmans!
