Charlottenlund Fort

Charlottenlund Fort was built in Charlottenlund, near Copenhagen, Denmark, between 1883 and 1886 as a coastal battery. The fort was originally an open earthworks, but was rebuilt into a coastal fort between 1910 and 1912.
It was part of a series of sea forts that were built to protect Copenhagen from the sea, including Flakfortet and Middelgrundsfortet, both of which can be seen from Charlottenlund.
The armaments of twelve 29cm howitzer guns are still in their original positions.
The fort was closed in 1932, and is now used as a campsite and recreational area.

The fort was used for the production of the 'Place the exercise balls on the yoga mat' task, in the first episode of the first season of Stormester.
