Rialto Theatre

The Rialto Theatre is a former movie palace located on Park Avenue in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is designated as a National Historic Site of Canada.
Built in 1923-1924, the Rialto was inspired by the Napoleon III style Paris Opera House.
The Rialto operated as a cinema until the 1990s, and has undergone many changes since 2000. It was sold to its current owners in 2010, who have since attempted to protect the theatre and restore its unique architecture.
Taskmaster connection
The theatre was used for the production of the live studio sessions of the first season of Le Maître du Jeu.
