Biography

José Corbacho Nieto (born in Barcelona on 12 December 12 1965) is a Spanish actor, director, screenwriter, and comedian.

His career in television is linked to the El Terrat production company, of which he is a partner and content advisor.

He has appeared in early morning programmes such as Una altra cosa (TV3), Me lo dijo Pérez (1999, Telecinco) and La Último Noche (Telecinco), but it was in Homo Zapping (2003-2007, Antena 3) where he became popular on national television.

Together with his friend Juan Cruz, he shot the film Tapas (2005), which received the Biznaga de Oro award for best film, the audience award, and the award for best actress at the Malaga Festival. His second film as a director was Cowards (2008) and, in 2015, he released Incidencias, his third film.

In 2009 he directed the series Pelotas, in which he played the role of the psychologist.

In 2012 and 2013 he was part of the jury of the third and fourth seasons of Tú si que vales (Telecinco) and collaborated with Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero on Buenas noches y Buenafuente (Antena 3). After the cancellation of this programme, he signed for Telecinco in 2012 where he presented the short-lived contest Todo el mundo es bueno, together with Pilar Rubio.

In 2014, he served on the jury in Mira quién salta (Telecinco) and El pueblo más divertido de España (La1).

In 2017, he participated in a new program of 1, 2, 3... Hypnotízame on Antena 3.

Later, he participated as a contestant in the second edition of MasterChef Celebrity, alongside Edu Soto and Silvia Abril.
