Special synopsis

A single-episode Christmas special of Stormester aired on the 25th of December 2023, featuring the contestants from season 7 of the show: Anders Lund Madsen, Hadi Ka-koush, Jesper Ole Feit Andersen, Kathrine Abrahamsen, and Petra Nagel.

The contestants must do the right Christmas thing, daringly put an Easter egg in an eggcup, find all 10 ducks hidden in the lab, make the best Santa Claus using a photocopier, and play their Christmas sounds right.

Taskmaster Intro

Good evening, and welcome to this special edition of Stormester. For the next hour or so, Christmas will be a party for the minds. There's a lot of hustle among our five contestants. Because they know they can all win the most valuable gift of the year. But who will be the lucky winner?

Note: “Christmas will be a party for the minds” is a play on the Danish phrase ‘Christmas is a party for the hearts’, meaning that love is at the core of the celebrations.

Assistant Intro

Now it’s Mark again, now it’s Mark again, and Mark is also called le Fêvre! And he sits here, yes indeed, there, and his name is still Mark le Fêvre!

Note: Lasse sings this to the tune of Nu är det jul igen (‘Now it’s Christmas again’), which is traditionally sung while dancing around the Christmas tree.

Special prize

The prize in this festive special is a replica of Lasse’s head made out of browncake, which is similar to gingerbread.

Notes

• On 24 January 2023, an image was posted to both the official Stormester account, and to Mark Le Fêvre's account on Instagram, stating that a seventh full season of the show had begun production, and encouraging fans to share who they'd like to see appear as contestants.
• On 30 January 2023, the official Stormester account on Instagram shared teaser images of the cast for season 7, hidden through the use of a mosaic filter, and encouraged followers to guess who they might be. They also announced that studio filming for the season would take place between the 13th and the 20th March 2023, with tickets going on sale from February 6th.
• On 1 February 2023, the identities of the contestants were revealed on Instagram as Anders Lund Madsen, Hadi Ka-koush, Jesper Ole Feit Andersen, Kathrine Abrahamsen, and Petra Nagel.
• Tickets to attend the live studio filming session at Glassalen ['Glass House'] in the Tivoli Gardens amusement park went on sale on 6 February 2023 and were sold out within 12 hours.
• On 13 December 2023, it was announced that the special would be airing on Christmas Day 2023.
