No further updates are being made to the database, except for the dates of upcoming episodes, and links to relevant franchise news. Most of the information has been migrated over to the Taskmaster Wiki. The TMI database will stay up as an archive until the end of 2026. Taskmaster was a US comedy panel game show, based on the UK TV show of the same name. The American adaptation was produced in California for Comedy Central in 2017. It starred comedian and actor Reggie Watts as the Taskmaster, issuing simple comedic and bizarre tasks to regular contestants, and Alex Horne as his assistant. Since the episodes were only 30 minutes long, including ad breaks (just 21 minutes in actual run time), there was only time for three tasks per episode. The show did not perform well in the ratings, and there are no plans to produce a second season.
Notes
Contestant notes
- The panel consists of five fixed contestants.
Team task notes
- There are no pre-filmed team tasks in this version of the show.
Tie-break notes
- Episode ties are broken through tiebreaker tasks carried out live in studio.
Prize notes
- There is no prize task in this version of the show.
- Instead, a prize is put up by a different member of the cast (both contestants and hosts) for each episode.
- Since there are only seven cast members, and eight episodes, the prize in the final episode was a collection of memorabilia from the show.
