Taskmaster NZ

Taskmaster NZ is New Zealand’s version of the British show Taskmaster. The New Zealand adaptation is produced for TVNZ, with support from NZ On Air. The show is hosted by Taskmaster Jeremy Wells with comedian Paul Williams serving as his assistant. Following the format of the original British version, the show consists of five contestants who compete in a series of strange and unusual tasks to gain points from the Taskmaster.

• On Sweden's SVT Play service, this show is titled 'Bäst i test Nya Zeeland' (Best in Test New Zealand).
• On Norway's Discovery+ service, this show is titled 'Kongen Befaler New Zealand' (The King Commands New Zealand).

Contestant notes

• The panel consists of five fixed contestants per season.

Team task notes

• Team tasks are completed by uneven teams of two and three contestants.

Tie-break notes

• Episode ties are broken through tiebreaker tasks, either pre-recorded or live in studio.

Prize notes

• A prize pool is established for each episode from items brought in by contestants for the prize task.
• The prizes are typically presented on screen, though there have been a few occasions where they have been presented on stage.
