Attempts

Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!

  • Anders argues with himself with the help of a mirror. Mirror-Anders berates himself for being a fat, greedy pig, instructing Anders to whip himself on the back with his belt a few times to atone for being a terrible person. After Anders completes his self-flagellation, Mirror-Anders forgives Anders. In the studio, Anders seems a bit frazzled by his attempt; when Annika congratulates him on his strong Taxi Driver references, Anders is visibly relieved - he clearly did not remember why he chose to do what he did prior to Annika’s comment. Anders earns third place.
  • Jakob decides to have a rap battle with himself in the lab. Rapper-Jakob taunts Jakob with bad rhymes, and Jakob continually refuses to engage in the battle, embarrassed by even the thought of Rapper-Jakob. When the message clearly isn’t getting through to Rapper-Jakob, Jakob simply leaves the lab, ending the argument. In the studio, Lasse dubs Rapper-Jakob “MC Sucks At Freestyling,” and Jakob reveals that it was actually all scripted. Jakob earns last place.
  • Mahamad’s argument with himself involves whether or not he understands the task about arguing with himself. Unfortunately, Mahamad seems to have been unaware that he could get an assist from the Stormester editing team to do things like superimpose shots of himself together; as such, the majority of Mahamad’s argument footage is of him running from one side of the desk to the other to play both parts of the argument, and he is never in the same shot with himself during the entire argument, so it just looks like he’s yelling at either Mark or an empty room. Mahamad earns fourth place.
  • Annika uses various costume items from the house to make herself two distinct characters: one person with spiky white hair and a long brown braided beard, and the other with green hair, puppets, and a rainbow shirt. Beard-Annika berates Green-Annika for not removing things from the refrigerator that she knows she’s not going to use, instead just leaving them to spoil. This quickly turns into a crying and screaming (but short) argument about why she never learns to never buy asparagus, since she never ends up cooking it. Annika earns second place.
  • It’s unclear if Neel knew that she could ask the editing team to superimpose shots of herself in the same room. She gets around this by arguing with herself on either side of a locked door. Angry-Neel storms into the office and starts to write a letter to Lasse, asking when he is planning on firing Mark. Placating-Neel, constantly knocking on the locked door, says that Angry-Neel can’t have Mark fired, as his Jutland accent would certainly kill any other television opportunities for him. When Angry-Neel refuses to stop, Placating-Neel threatens to smash Lasse’s ostrich egg – and does so before walking away. Angry-Neel leaves the office and cries over the broken egg, while Placating-Neel enters the office and destroys the letter by eating it. Neel wins the task.
