Josh paints lickin’ with a chicken

Josh picks a rubber chicken from the bathtub. When the second part of the task is revealed, he shouts “That’s a silly thing to paint with”.

Josh uses both the chicken’s feet to apply mainly pink paint to the canvas.

While they’re painting, Tom Cashman warns the contestants (and specifically Josh) not to paint anything rude, if possible. Josh responds that his painting is not rude.

With one minute remaining, Josh moans “I want to go home”, leading Jenny to shout words of encouragement to him.

Tom Gleeson has trouble identifying what Josh has painted, but observes that he had painted slowly and that someone had shouted out “quicken”, so he incorrectly adopts this as his guess.

Josh asks the audience if anyone knows what he had actually painted, and one person correctly guesses that it was “lickin’”. Josh points out the large tongue he’d painted at the top of the canvas, licking a lollipop. Tom Cashman is audibly relieved at this revelation, having clearly assumed that Josh was instead depicting some kind of sexual act.

Because Tom Gleeson could not identify what the painting was, Josh earns minus 2 points. However, after Josh storms off the stage in response to Tom Gleeson correctly identifying Wil’s painting, Tom deducts another point from him for quitting, giving Josh a final task score of minus 3 points.
