Wil touches one of the innumerable gods

Wil opts to show off his sense of touch. He claims he is going to do this by touch the hand, or the finger, of God.

Through the magic of green-screen technology Wil and Tom are transported to “another place” in the clouds, where Wil says he is going to use his sense of touch to touch the “generic male religious deity”. He points and slowly moves his finger upwards until it touches another finger which has appeared from above, and there is a flash of light.

In the studio, when Tom Gleeson calls Wil “Mr Sketch Guy”, Wil argues that it wasn’t a sketch, it was drama. Tom insists that it wasn’t drama, and says he knows that Wil is just trying to get a sketch show on Channel 10. When Tom states that all of Wil’s sketches are “shithouse”, Wil responds that he’s not going to give away his best stuff on Tom’s show.

Tom Gleeson asks Wil if he believes in God, but Wil responds diplomatically by claiming that he believes in all the gods. This prompts Tom Cashman to point out that Wil had therefore only touched one of innumerable gods. The Toms agree there are at least 10 gods, giving Wil a success rate of 10% at the very most, so Wil earns just 1 point.
