Wil guesses some things about Tom Cashman

After some thinking, Wil says “11th of September” out of nowhere, before realising what events are associated with that date. He then reveals that he had intended to guess Tom Cashman’s birthday (which is actually on the 14th of September, so he wasn’t far off).

Wil then says the name “Donald” out of nowhere. When Tom doesn’t respond to that, Wil reveals that he was trying to guess Tom’s father’s name.

Wil then says “circumcised”, and Tom responds by asking if that’s a guess about him or his dad. Wil acknowledges that it’s only a 50/50 guess, so not that great, but that Tom can tell him later. However, Tom says he can tell him now, and whispers the relevant information into Wil’s ear.

Acknowledging that time is starting to run out for his fluke, Wil casually guesses that there’s 1 minute and 28 seconds left on the clock, but it turns out that there is actually 1 minute and 24 seconds remaining.

Wil then asks if Tom if he has a middle name, before correctly guessing that it’s ‘James’. Pleased with himself, he then continues talking before casually dropping in the phrase “in this last 28 seconds” at exactly the right time, which makes him even more excited, leading him to start clapping really hard and smacking the table and his leg.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson asks Wil which attempt he is submitting as his fluke, and Wil opts for the final, accurate guess at the time remaining on the clock.

Wil earns 3 points for his flukey guess.
