Wil’s patriarchal Barbie movie
Wil says for a big movie, you need to leverage off some pre-existing intellectual property.
Saying he wants to keep it simple, he decides to make a new ‘Barbie’ movie aimed at men, focused on barbecues. Wil acknowledges that he knows Tom Gleeson isn’t keen on puns, and that he hasn’t done very well with prize tasks so far, but reveals that he’s paid to have a movie poster made for his Barbie movie.
Tom picks up on the fact that the movie is targeted at men, and suggests that Wil’s aim is to re-establish the patriarchy, before claiming that he’s into it.
Wil wins the task and earns 5 points.
