Josh handles his flip-flops

Josh throws a few flip-flops onto his barbecue, before being the first to pluck a golden thong from the line behind him.

He attempts to throw the golden thong onto Lloyd’s barbecue, and while it knocks a single flip-flop off, it does not land on the grill, so Lloyd doesn’t lose any more. Josh then throws another golden thong, but that one also misses. However, his third golden thong lands on Lloyd’s barbecue.

While Tom Cashman is brushing Lloyd’s flip-flops off his grill, Josh asks whether he can collect his already-thrown flip-flops from the stage floor. When Tom says that he can, Josh picks them up with his bare hands and places them back in his basket.

As Josh goes back to collect some more, Tom Cashman sees him doing this and informs him that he’s been disqualified for touching the flip-flops with his hands. Josh protests, arguing that he’d thought that rule only applied to the throwing of the items.

At this point, he has 16 flip-flops on his barbecue but, with 30 seconds remaining, accepts his disqualification and sits and then lies on the stage.

Josh earns no points.
