Jack pans the very first fish he catches
Jack controls the position of the fishing rod, and instructs Alex on when to raise or lower the line. However, he has real problems with actually hooking any of the fish on the magnet, and gets increasingly frustrated with the whole challenge.
When he eventually manages to catch a fish, he’s so done with the task that he doesn’t even consider checking how many dots are on it, before lowering it directly into the frying pan while still on the line, despite a last-minute warning by Alex.
Alex then asks Jack how dotty his fish is, and Jack finally takes a look, revealing that it has just a single dot. He then throws the fish back down onto the track in disgust.
In the studio, Alex reveals that Jack still had eight minutes of his time remaining, at the point where he ended his attempt.
Jack earns just 1 point for his mono-dotted fish.
