Alex goes from hero to zero

Alex initially attempts to lasso Antoine by spinning the lasso above his head before throwing. When this fails, Alex immediately switches to simply tossing the lasso’s loop towards Antoine, and actually comes close to succeeding a few times, managing to hit Antoine’s chest with the rope.

As he gathers up the rope after an unsuccessful attempt, Alex asks if Antoine is allowed to move closer. Alex immediately revels in the loophole he has discovered, and commands Antoine to walk closer. Antoine then walks to stand right in front of Alex, who drapes the lasso over his head.

In the studio, Antoine reveals that the whole process took only 4 minutes 17 seconds. Louis then offers to show a replay of Alex’s moment of glory – which is shot from a different angle, revealing that Alex had actually stepped across the line while placing the lasso over Antoine’s head.

Alex crumples to the floor in the studio and briefly throws a fake tantrum over the revelation, but is disqualified for breaking the rules – a moment Louis dubs as Alex going “from hero to zero”.
