Aksel keeps things simple

Aksel finds a skateboard and measures out a distance of 60 metres on the road outside of the house.

The road is naturally sloped, meaning that gravity will do all of the work for him, so Aksel takes a moment to explain to Olli how his arms are acting as the skateboard’s engine: the fact that he is hanging onto a nearby fence – during which point the skateboard does not move – means that his arms are a “release and go engine” for the skateboard.

Aksel lets go of the fence, and the skateboard starts to pick up momentum down the hill, easily carrying him across the finish line.

Aksel finishes the race in 13 seconds, and earns second place.
