Aksel’s Rune kit

Aksel introduces his prize submission by explaining that he is from Lambertseter, in eastern Oslo, where he claims there are only two things that are considered cool. Before he can reveal what they are, Tara Lina proffers her own answers: whores and cocaine.

Aksel actually seems to be referring to specific looks, as he starts telling a story about a boy he went to school with named Rune, who had a mullet hairstyle and an upturned nose, and was very popular with the girls.

Aksel admits that when he was younger, he’d wanted to be like Rune, so he’s invented a “Rune kit”, comprised of a “hockey hair” (mullet) wig, and an attachment to pull up his nose and upper lip in an approximation of Rune’s look. Aksel even models his Rune kit on stage, strutting around confidently as though he were on a catwalk.

Atle awards him third place.
