Erik quickly spots the trick

Erik samples the contents one of the glasses, correctly identifying it as Sana-sol. Realising that one of the glasses does not actually contain liquid, he pours out the glass of noodles onto the table to find out what it is.

Erik then re-reads the task brief, spotting the trick answer before he even finishes reading. He then writes ‘løsningsordet’ on the chalkboard (along with a circled ‘1’, indicating that he believes he has won the task), and takes another shot of Sana-sol before leaving the lab.

In the studio, Erik admits that he does not recognise himself in this task, stating that he had been fooled by a tricky task in the previous episode (it’s unclear to what he is referring; the only ‘trick’ task from the previous episode was the ‘Light your pære’ task, and he’d made the obvious choice in that one).

Erik completes the task in just 20 seconds, and earns first place.
