Mel’s retro wearable tech

Mel states that she’s going back to the “oldie, oldie days” with her prize submission. She counts on her fingers as she says that she has brought in, a calculator, on a lanyard, and that it’s pink.

When Tom Gleeson asks if all three things add to the quaintness, Mel says “100%, big daddy.” She explains that the colour is “early ‘90s”, and the fact that a calculator, which is portable, has been made into a fashion item, is super quaint.

Mel earns 2 points.
