Everyone plays touchball

In the first round, Aaron is the ball-toucher, and Rhys is the ball-wanter. After Rhys puts on their blindfold, Aaron places the ball in front of them, by the ropes. Aaron marches around the ring, giving the ball a little pat each time he passes it. Rhys sweeps around in front of themself with the mannequin leg and quickly touches the ball, winning the first round.

In the second round, Concetta is the ball-toucher, and Pete is the ball-wanter.

Concetta places the ball to the left of Pete, and then walks around him saying “I’m in your freaking mind!” and “You don’t even know what’s right and what’s left.” Pete gets down on his hands and knees, and sweeps around with the mannequin leg. He then throws the leg, and it goes underneath the ropes and falls off the stage. After Tom Cashman returns the leg to him, Pete is still unable to find the ball, and asks whether Concetta had popped it. He then manages to hit it with the leg just as Tom blows his whistle, so wins the round.

In the third round, Mel is the ball-toucher, and Concetta is the ball-wanter. Mel bounces the ball behind Concetta, and then places it in the corner of the ring behind her. She then flaps her arms around and shouts “Bounce, bounce, bounce!”. As Concetta is trying to find and touch the ball, Mel runs around near to her, trying to distract her by telling her about a true crime podcast she’d heard, which was about a girl in an arena who was blindfolded and was trying to touch a ball. She then asks Concetta if she knows what happens if the girl touches the ball, just before Concetta successfully touches the ball, and wins the round.

In the fourth round, Pete is the ball-toucher, and Aaron is the ball-wanter. Pete bounces the ball and then taps it against Aaron’s stomach, before rolling it gently to the back of the ring. Aaron frantically waves his mannequin leg around, then drops it, and it rolls to the edge of the ring. As he goes to retrieve it, he knocks it further away, and then picks up one of the cameras instead, waving it around before realising it’s not the leg. After Tom Cashman throws the leg back to him, Aaron waves it around, while still holding the camera in the other hand. He hits Pete with the leg, just before touching the ball, and winning the round.

In the fifth round, Rhys is the ball-toucher, and Mel is the ball-wanter. Rhys silently gestures for Aaron to join them in the ring, then send him to the other side of the arena, holding both the ball and the camera. Mel crawls around on her knees, waving the mannequin leg around. To avoid getting hit, Aaron jumps over the leg, as both he and Rhys both move around the ring. Mel then throws the leg, and it hits the ball, so she wins the round.

It’s revealed that Concetta was the best ball-wanter, having set a new ‘world record’ of 10.44 seconds, and that Rhys was the best ball-toucher, having kept the ball away from Mel for 41 seconds.

Tom Cashman works out the aggregated ball touch-to-want score ratio, revealing that Mel was in last place with 1 point, Aaron earned 2 points, Pete earned 3 points, Concetta was second and earned 4 points, and that Rhys had won the task and earned 5 points.
