Ron’s Japanese pizza

When Alex asks Ron what he thinks a ‘flag meal’ is, he says he doesn’t know, but suggests that maybe it’s a meal a flag would eat, adding “but flags don’t eat anything.”

When Ron brings his flag meal to Alex, he admits that it’s a bit burnt.

Ron’s flag meal is a recreation of the Japanese flag, with pepperoni as the red circle in the centre, laid on a background of dough covered in white cheese.

After Ron and Alex both taste the flag meal, Ron admits that it’s a bit doughy, but claims that Japan is known for its cherry blossoms and pepperoni.

In the studio, Ron admits that he’d forgotten that both cheese and pepperoni brown when they are baked.

Ron earns just 1 point.
