Mathew learns to hate Alex

Mathew very slowly drags his left hand back across the table towards himself while keeping the jar as level as possible, but then confesses that he hasn’t really thought through what he’s going to do next.

Having brought the jar closer to him, he is able to turn his head to the right, to grab one of the jar lids with his teeth, which he then places on top of the jar on his left hand. He then brings the jar closer and manages to screw the lid down using his mouth.

Having put the first jar down on the table, he then has a free hand to grab the second lid and secure the jar on his right hand.

Leaving the lab with both jars, Mathew runs out through the front door of the house and takes a look around the garden. He is then seen walking back down the hallway from the lab, stating that he’s either going to hate Alex, or himself, by the end of the task.

Mathew takes a look around the inside of the caravan, but does not spot the fish tank under its camo net, so leaves to search elsewhere again. When Alex claims not to know where the fish tank is, Mathew responds with “Bullshit”.

After checking the shed and the living room, and doing a lap of the driveway, he heads back into the caravan, places the vinegar on the table, and only then spots the fish tank, responding with an emphatic “Fuck off!”.

As he removes the lid of the tank and pours his vinegar into the container, Alex confirms with him that he’s found the tank, and Mathew responds with “You remember I said I’d either hate myself or you? It’s you.”

In the studio, Alex reveals that Mathew had completed the task in 12 minutes and 3 seconds, and had not spilled any of his vinegar, which earns him 3 points.
