Fatiha catches peas in her hijab

When Alex asks Fatiha if she’s ready for the Pealympics, she asks “Do I have a choice?”.

In the first event, she remains standing behind her plinth and simply instructs Alex to look underneath the cushions for her, apparently at random. When Alex asks her how many cushions there are, she answers correctly that there are 26, but doesn’t identify how this is at all helpful. When the time runs out and she hasn’t found the pea, Fatiha states that it was a “waste of time”, and Alex agrees.

At the starts of the carrot tower-building event, Alex retrieves the pea from beneath the correct cushion for her, prompting her to claim that he is “out of order”. She builds a pretty decent carrot tower, and balances her pea on the topmost carrot, earning the gold medal.

For the pea-catching event, she has trouble spotting the peas being fired at her, so asks Alex to just fire a whole bunch at once, while she opens her mouth, hoping that one will land inside. Eventually, she asks whether it counts as a catch if a pea lands in the folds of her hijab. When Alex confirms that it does, she says that she’s caught loads.

For the pea-throwing task, Fatiha smartly points out that Alex is “deranged”, and will likely be next asking her to retrieve the pea she has thrown. With that in mind, she drops the pea only a short distance away from the edge of the temple, so that she knows where it is.

Thanks to her smart decision in the previous event, Fatiha is able to very quickly find her pea for the final event, earning the gold medal.

In the studio, Greg states that he’s sure that Fatiha finds the show to be an “inconvenience”, prompting her to respond “How dare you? I caught fucking five peas, bruv. Are you mad?”.

Fatiha earns two gold medals (for her carrot tower and pea retrieval), and so earns third place and three points.
