Pete campaigns for a second Logie for Tom Gleeson

Pete’s banner features a picture of Tom Gleeson, and reads ‘The Taskmaster 4 Gold Logie #2’. The ‘R’ of ‘Taskmaster’ is underneath the rest of the word, as he’d clearly run out of room.
A fanfare plays, as Pete pokes one finger through the banner, and then another, before waggling them both. He then sticks through the head of a paper mâché Tom Gleeson, and says “My name’s Tom Gleeson, and I endorse this message.” Pete then bursts through the hole, exclaiming “Ta-dah!”
Pete states that the banner is about promoting Tom so he can get another Gold Logie award. He asks what better way to achieve this than to have a paper mâché Tom Gleeson next to a spray-painted Tom Gleeson (referring to the trophy). When Tom Cashman asks Pete “Are we still in the burst-through?”, since there is so far just a hole in the banner, Pete asks “Is it not burst through enough?”. The fanfare then plays again as Pete kicks the bottom of the banner, and it rips apart. He then holds the paper mâché Tom Gleeson in front of his own face and says “Great work Pete.”
In the studio, Tom Gleeson likens the way Pete had burst through his banner to a very disappointing version of the MGM lion. Pete states that he was “going for the Alien kind of thing, bursting through the chest.” He then says “Sorry about the fingers… or, that’s my pleasure”, thereby coining the episode title.
Pete’s banner earns second place because Tom Gleeson agreed with the message, but his burst-through places fourth, so Pete earns 3 points overall.
