Concetta falls in love with papier-mâché Tom Cashman

Concetta enters the study, sees the roses, and says that they’re her favourite, before immediately backtracking. She searches room for the loveliest thing, refusing to commit to anything too early. She admires some creatures on a tree in the room, and then the small papier-mâché Tom Cashman. When Tom asks her if she’d just said “I love you” Concetta denies it, then debates aloud whether she’s allowed to say it before officially choosing her loveliest thing.
She sits at the desk, brainstorming meet-cute scenarios like “coffee shop” and “dropping stuff”, before suddenly exclaiming “Eye-fucking on a bus!”. She pretends to catch someone looking at her, and then screams at Tom for not looking away. Tom explains to her that sometimes on the bus, he stares at someone out of fear, not attraction. Concetta jokes that people probably think he's into them, which is why he can’t find love—he’s too focused on the guy who’s soiled himself, instead of the girl.
Concetta then walks over to the papier-mâché Tom and declares “I’m gonna eye-fuck the shit out of this little guy.”
Her film begins with her sitting on a bus, reading a book, across the aisle from the tree with its creatures, and the papier-mâché Tom. As a slow French love song plays, Concetta peeks over her book at her chosen lovely thing, hides again, then a conversation begins:
Tom: “What are you reading?”
Concetta: “A Time to Dance. What are you reading?”
Tom: “I don’t really like reading. I prefer to watch.”
Concetta: “What are you watching?”
Tom: “A documentary about sand.”
Concetta: “That sounds amazing.”
Concetta mimes the motion of the bus stopping, then declares “This is our stop.” Tom asks whether he should come with her. They then walk through a library as he explains to her that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand. She picks up a rotary phone and calls the library desk. When she says that she’s on hold, Tom responds “There’s something I’d like to hold. And I’m not talking about an iPad.” The music then swells as she moves in closer to him.
In the studio, Concetta says that she was inspired by When Harry Met Sally, and insists that she had “slayed” the challenge. Tom Gleeson compliments her bus-stopping mime, and suggests that all of the contestants mime a bus stopping together in the studio, which turns out badly.
For most closely adhering to the genre, Concetta wins the task and earns 5 points.
