Mel’s comedy sketch show DVD

Mel brings in a DVD copy of the sketch comedy show Fruit Unit, which she had written and Tom Gleeson had appeared in, but which had only lasted one season.

She explains that she wants future generations to look back on a time when she and Tom were not the mega-stars that they are now. When Tom asks her “What do you mean ‘we’?”, Mel asks him how many Instagram followers he has, and he says that he doesn’t know.

Tom says that he remembers the show being very funny, and that the people in charge simply had no vision.

Mel earns 4 points.
