Pete’s Storage Wars warning

Pete also brings in a sign and, learning from Rhys’ mistake, immediately claims that it is made of a very strong material that hasn’t been invented yet.

Noting that he likes both The Terminator films and practical jokes, Pete’s sign warns people in the future that “The Storage Wars are coming!! Prepare.” He argues that people would have of the TV show Storage Wars, so it would be very confusing to them to be warned that The Storage Wars are a real and approaching danger.

Tom Cashman points out that movies like The Terminator usually feature people from the future travelling back in time to warn people in the past of impending danger, not the other way around. Tom Gleeson agrees that it’s a fair point, while Pete is speechless.

Pete earns just 1 point.
