Mel enlists the help of Lloyd Langford

After reading the task brief, Mel says “But I live in Brisbane. It’s gonna be hard.”

When Tom Gleeson asks what she has, she responds, “Not Cate Blanchett, that’s for sure.” She says that her chosen heavenly voice belongs to a very large celebrity on the network, and introduces her recording using what she describes as her own annoying voice, quoting a radio listener who had once asked “Why is that fucking fishwife on the radio?”.

Mel’s heavenly voice belongs to Lloyd Langford, who begins his video as if it’s a self-taped audition by saying “Lloyd. Comedian.” Lloyd then says “How now, brown cow.”

When Tom Gleeson says that the recording was pleasing to the ears, Mel points out that it was of a straight white man, adding “Your favourite.”

Tom says that he’s always enjoyed Lloyd Langford’s voice, and awards Mel 3 points.
