Aaron fails to hide in the bath

Aaron places the task brief in front of the bath, claiming that it’s a red herring, before climbing into the bath tub.

When Tom Cashman emerges from the shed, he immediately spots Aaron in the bath, because Aaron’s knees were visible from his vantage point.

When Aaron asks if, hypothetically, Tom would have guessed the bath, had he not seen him, Tom points out that not seeing Aaron in the bath would have made it a bit harder to guess the bath.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson points out that a red herring is meant to distract from the correct answer—not draw attention to it. When Aaron insists that it was a double red herring, Tom Cashman notes that the plan might have worked if Aaron hadn’t been immediately visible in the tub.

Aaron is found after a single guess, but earns 2 points.
