Kiti hinders the ball’s exit
Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.
Kiti begins by inserting stir sticks into one of the holes in the side of the tube, before pouring in some of the blue liquid. The tube is roughly at her head height, so she has to stretch to reach the top of it. Only after she begins pouring does she notice that there are multiple holes in the tube, and so she starts plugging them with drinking straws and cocktail sticks.
Reasoning that she cannot touch the tube but can touch the tray, Kiti tries tilting the tray almost upside-down so that the tube slopes downward, expecting the ball to fall out. When nothing happens, she flips the tray fully upside-down, but the ball still does not come out. After questioning whether the ball is glued inside the tube, she realises that the straws and sticks she had poked into the holes are what is preventing the ball from leaving. After removing them, she flips the tray once more and the ball finally rolls out onto the table.
In the studio, Jaakko likens the fact that he has to explain to the contestants including Kiti that the pipe MUST NOT BE MOVED to trying to explain rocket science to a Golden Retriever. When Aku points out that they all seemed to share the same logic that flipping the board didn’t count as moving the tube, Jaakko insists that the tube had moved quite significantly in the process. Pilvi questions whether the contestants could have moved the tube more boldly, since none of their attempts really adhered to the rules.
When Aku says that it was hilarious to watch Kiti block the tube herself and then not understand why it didn’t work, Kiti admits that she has never felt so stupid.
Kiti removes the ball in 1 minute and 22 seconds, but she earns just 1 point because she’d moved the tube.
