Sofie pokes the stockings with a stick

Sofie starts by reasoning that taking a picture of what is in the stocking and looking at the picture is not breaking the rules, but quickly dismisses it as an effective tactic (presumably because it is difficult to see in the dark toe of the stocking).

She starts to hit the stockings, and incorrectly guesses where the clementine is.

She continues on by poking stockings with a stick until the item pops out. Using this method, she finds the clementine in 7 minutes 2 seconds, earning second place.
