Hugh uses a mirror

Here's a brief description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working writing up more detail!

Hugh set up a mirror so he could see the woman's reflection rather than look at the woman directly. However, his drawing was so bad that he placed last. He did get the woman to write down her name, so received a bonus point for finding out her full name.
