Heino’s artistic justification

To delay his starting time, Heino has a stand-off with Mark, declaring that he will beat Mark up if Mark touches him.

When his time eventually starts, Heino thinks for a moment, then goes inside the house.

He emerges with a portrait of Lasse, and holds in over the bin, as only a corner of the painting actually fits in the bin’s opening.

Heino justifies his decision by saying that Lasse has an IQ of 180, and that he has therefore put “180 IQ pieces” into the bin.

Heino takes the portrait back into the house with him when he leaves.

In the studio, Heino justifies his decision differently: he presents a screenshot from Wikipedia which declares that oil paintings consist of exactly 50 different things.

When Lasse expresses doubt (as anyone can edit Wikipedia), Heino presents a letter that he claims to be from the Copenhagen Art Guild, which breaks down 50 individual components that make up a canvas and oil paints.

Lasse accepts Heino’s effort, but reveals that Heino never actually declared that he had put 50 things in the bin, and so his time is still running.

A bin is brought out on stage for him and, to represent the portrait of Lasse, Heino pushes Lasse’s head into the bin, at which point his time is stopped.

Heino therefore completes the task in 180 days, and comes last.
