Vegard’s operations centre

Vegard realises that he has all the time in the world to make elaborate preparations, and so begins by moving the breeze blocks - along with their ducks - closer to the line.

He decides to use the spray from the garden hose to knock down the closest ducks, so he gets Olli to hold a kink in the hose, to keep it ready to spray.

He then ties a combination of rope and garden hose around the various obstacles, creating an "operations centre" in the middle of the garden.

He mimes the actions he plans to take, and claims that anything over 5 seconds will be "disappointing".

When his attempt proper begins, he pulls the ropes successfully, felling the majority of the ducks, including the big one on the fountain.

Unfortunately, an unplanned kink forms in the garden hose, as he's spraying the final ducks, so he panics and fells some of them with his hands.

In the studio, Olli has Vegard retrieve the task brief from under his chair and read aloud the part that specifies "You cannout touch the ducks." A replay of part of his attempt is then shown on screen, to show him clearly touching them, and Olli waggling his fingers at the camera.

Vegard is disqualified from the task, and his time is never revealed.
