Vegard over-engineers his tower

Vegard starts his tower two breeze blocks stacked vertically, but then decides to make some wooden shims, to help level out the pedestal.

He then begins stacking breeze blocks on top of the pedestal, and tries to build a support system around his tower by using caution tape to provide tension.

He also predicts, during the process, that Bård will have tried to cheat in some way.

He tapes his egg to the top of a PVC pipe and, with Olli’s help, uses more flagging tape as guy-wires, to hold the pipe upright on top of the breeze blocks.

Vegard gets his egg up to a height of 5 metres and 14 centimetres, and earns fourth place with his elaborate construction.
