Vegard's splash guards

Vegard brings a pair of white plastic splash guards for his kayak.

He sits on the stage and demonstrates how they attach to the front of the boat, in order to keep waves from splashing him when the kayak is moving quickly.

Atle states, with some sympathy, that Vegard has grown up, before later describing his prize as the most boring thing that he’s seen in his life.

Atle awards him fourth place.
