Vegard and the capillary effect

Vegard skips happily across the field before greeting Olli.

His initial planning and ordering process is not shown, but Olli then returns with a couple of plastic bins filled with various objects.

Vegard states that he plans to make water shoes, and begins overexplaining the concept of the capillary effect to Olli as he works.

His finished product involves a plastic storage bin being worn on each foot, sealed around his legs with plastic.

He wades into the water wearing his bins, and using a long stick for stability. Once he begins to float, he commences to ‘walk on water’, using a walking motion while pulling himself forward with the stick.

At one point, as he wavers slightly, Vegard comments "Whoa, now there’s a bit of a Titanic-vibe here!", thus coining the episode title.

He continues to slowly float-walk into the lake, until eventually falling over onto his back.

Atle doesn’t penalise Vegard for overexplaining things this time, awarding him first place.

Note: throughout Vegard's attempt, the sofa from Bård's attempt (with its black cover removed) can be seen in the background.
