Jesper calls the mayor
Jesper’s hometown is Kolding (a seaport town in southern Denmark), so Jesper decides to call the mayor of Kolding.
After waiting on hold for a bit, Jesper asks the mayor a question: if the mayor were asked what would make Lasse Rimmer want to move to Kolding, what would the mayor say? The mayor asks if Lasse has been told about the pizza - specifically, that Kolding has the most pizzerias per capita than anywhere else in Denmark, and is known as the pizza slice capital of the country.
Jesper uses this fact to segue into a branding question: why doesn’t Kolding officially adopt the nickname ‘Slicetown’? He even pitches a new (albeit lengthy) slogan to the mayor: “Slicetown: come experience a slice of life (with or without sauce)”.
The mayor agrees that “a slice of life” is actually a great slogan, and the two then end the call.
Jesper looks down the camera lens and repeats the slogan to Lasse, winking and giving a thumbs-up, and then asks Mark to honk the nearby clown horn, as he exits.
However, Jesper’s exit is delayed, as he has trouble with the door, initially believing it to be locked, before successfully opening it and leaving.
In the studio, Jesper opens his shirt to reveal that he is wearing a T-shirt with a picture of a slice of pizza and his slogan printed on it.
When Lasse asks why Kolding needs so many pizzerias, when one or two good ones should be enough, Jesper is unable to answer.
Lasse awards Jesper fourth place.
