Anders’ ironic hometown tour
Anders’ hometown is Sorgenfri (which translates to ‘free of sorrow’), a neighbourhood in Copenhagen.
This gives him a huge advantage in the task, as it’s within driving distance of the Stormester house.
Anders and Mark hop into Anders’ vintage Mustang and take a driving tour of Sorgenfri.
Anders first takes Mark to his childhood home, and also points out the house of his childhood bully, who he says would often force him to eat sand.
Anders tells Mark how his childhood home had a rat problem, before driving to their next destination: Sorgenfri Station.
He says that this area is the most dangerous area in Sorgenfri, but does not elaborate further on this.
Anders and Mark then drive to the border of Sorgenfri, where Anders points out Lake Furesø, the deepest lake in all of Denmark.
It is ironically at the border of Sogenfri where Anders finds the most hometown pride, extolling how the lake represents beauty, nature, wilderness, freedom, and togetherness, which he says is a good reason to want to move to Sorgenfri, However, when pressed by Mark, he admits that he absolutely would not move back there himself.
As Anders and Mark drive away, a picturesque shot of the lake is shown with the slogan: “Sorgenfri: Gud fri mig vel” (‘Sorgenfri: God save me’).
Lasse awards Anders third place.
