Biography

Anders Lund Madsen (born on 15 October 1963) is a trained journalist, but is best known for his participation in Zirkus Nemo ['Circus Nemo'] with Søren Østergaard, De Sorte Spejdere ['The Black Scouts'] with Anders Breinholt, and as the host of Det Nye Talkshow ['The New Talk Show'].

Together with his brother, Peter Lund Madsen, he has performed in several shows at the Bellevue Theatre and the Bremen Theatre. Together they wrote the lyrics to the hit Avenuen ['The avenue'], performed by Trine Dyrholm, which was included in one of their shows, and spent over 100 weeks on the singles chart, reaching number 1.

The brothers also participated in the quiz programme Hvem vil være millionær? ['Who wants to be a millionaire?'], where they twice won the main prize of DKK 1 million (c£120,000).

Recurring bits

Anders almost always tries to guess what the task is before actually reading it. He also often enters the location of the task with a canned drink.
